Glenn C. Veit, JD, CIP

Mr. Veit joined Copernicus Group IRB as a founding Board member in 1996 and has been the IRB Chair since 1997. As IRB Advisor and Executive Chair of the WCG IRB’s, Mr. Veit is responsible for supporting and mentoring Board chairs, training Board members and contributing to IRB harmonization efforts across the WCG IRBs.

Mr. Veit is a former trial lawyer litigating issues involving medical negligence, advocacy for children and the mentally ill and has a strong compassion for the rights of his clients and for human subjects participating in clinical trials. Mr. Veit is a Certified IRB Professional. He is a graduate of Duke University and earned his JD from North Carolina Central University.
